Marvel Avengers Alliance: Best Team PvP Season 17. Guide for best characters for PvP. Review Ka-Zar

I really don't think there is much to say about Ka-Zar and why he is not a good character.

Just 2 days ago I wrote about Drax. There went over why Bleed skills suck. And Ka-Zar is yet another character stuck having bleed moves.

Heres the short points:

  •  People got way to much removal
  • Many, many uses mystic so you cant apply bleed turn 1 (if your agent can remove mystic is still luck based then to get your agent to move before the others)
  • Characters are immune to bleeding, can reverse it,can dodge etc. There is a lot of stuff that can go in your way
  • The pay of is not good enough as you get hard countered by teams with to much defense vs it.
  • Lastly, it just takes time to prepare up. Especially if the character do not have a good bleed spreading ability. PvP goes fast so that wont work.
Well Ka-zar is not as suuuuuper limited into bleeding like Drax is but he instead got a mountain of other issues.

Ka-Zar actually got one of the worst tank skills in the game(if not the worst), not just a bad tank skill but a really bad one.
There is a bunch of different activated tank abilities (a difference from passive tanks like Groot,spider-man etc), e.g Captain Americas sheild block, Red Hulk's Bulwark etc.  Because Ka-Zar don't get more tanky using it. Cap got a passive block chance which make him take a lot less damage. Rulk got a life drain which makes him restore some of the health he loses tanking. Then other characters like Spider-man got increased evasion so he avoids many attacks same with Nightcrawler. And so on. Ka-Zar just get that when you activated his tank stance he removes debuff on him. At that specific time, if he would turn immune to debuffs during it. That would have been something, now hes just a sitting duck that counter attacks. Horrible, truly horrible tank skill.

Then he has 2 classes like the warrior 3. And just like the Volstagg he got a shitty set of 2 classes. Warrior 3 in general never got anything good out of having double classes except then if the agent can give them both their class bonuses right away. Thats the only way they work. Having 2 classes is much more of a liability then an asset.
Especially when the 2 classes don't complement each other. Its a like a typical classic Pokemon thing. You want a Water Pokemon that is also ground making it immune to electricity. Another alternative is to have a classic water/ice Pokemon as Ice is good vs Grass, that helps the water weakness of being weak to grass. But then you are weak normal fire which is fine as you water and so on(in the water/ground case you get 4x weak to grass instead) And so on.  You don't want a water Pokemon who just get a weird type combo having nothing to do with water. Ok it might work as Pokemon is a little more complex then this game with swapping and teaching them element moves not of their types and so on.
In Marvel Avengers Alliance. You want something like, Tactician who is also a Scrapper. So you can double attack an infiltrator, or a Blaster who is also an infiltrator, so when the tactician attacks him he will counter. You want the classes who gain something from being matched together.

Scrapper/Bruiser thats just a shitty combo. You are weak towards Blasters from your Bruiser class, instead it would be awesome to be Bruiser/tactician and get turns when attacked. Now instead you get Scrapper who does nothing, well you are weak towards Bruisers who gain from your Scrapper status, which also makes you on shitty tank class.  And then Bruisers has always been kind of a bad tank as as Blasters ignore their defense but so few blasters in the meta that they work, otherwise the best tank class is Generalist followed by Tactician or working infiltrator( note: not like Medusa who do not have enough reduction to work as a tank, well he is a lot better then Ka-Zar). Being both Scrapper/Bruiser is the worst tank class after like Blaster/Scrapper but that combo would at least protect the Scrapper side as they could hard kill the Bruisers, so while being bad in defense aka Tanking they would have a great offense. Bruiser;Scrapper...only thing is good for is getting high stats then attacking with a high power into an infiltrator. Hardly a good tank combo if the character is left so vulnerable. It would be one thing if he turned way hard to kill during his tank round and then he could kill an infiltrator after taking some attacks and he would counter decently strong and damage people etc. But he just dies right away now....
Playing with Ka-Zar is ignoring his third ability for 90% of the games.

The only thing he got going for him is that his ultimate is decent.
