Marvel Avengers Alliance: Best Team PvP Season 17. Guide for best characters for PvP. Review Star-Lord.

So obviously like everyone else I think that Chris Pratt did an amazing job as Star-Lord so let me say something new then about him to not just repetitive people.  Anna Faris is amazing in Mom. Thats Chris wife and shes famous for a couple of movies(Scary Movie etc). But really Mom a pretty new sitcom on CBS best comedy right now from the US. A good way to summarize that show is; its like 2 and a half men but about women instead and actually funny.

I think Star-Lord is a pretty straight forward character. He does high damage and buffs the team while debuffing their team. And its all very combined his first ability gives the team rising up, which is random buffs of the 4 core stat buffs, while impaired(lower damage by 25% and cant critical) and corned (cant tank) to the enemy team. Not a super strong attack but a decent buff action for the team.

His third and ultimate are also about a lot of different debuffs. Third ability hard counters character like Quicksilver as it removes follow up attack, removes stealth and attacking causes becoming countered. SO its a really hard counter to QS in particular but also good vs a lot of other scrappers in general.

His ultimate is the classic Element gun which a bounce of different effects, exploit or fatal blow being the 2 best ones to pick from. Overall Star-Lord got a lot of utility.
Especially as his passive, makes him counter attack people who attack him or his team and give them a set of debuffs and then then he have one of the best passives in the game, 12% plan which can give anyone an extra turn which triggers from both being attacked and attacking for the whole team. Compare this to the popular Cyclops passive that might grant an extra turn after attacking, Star-Lord does this and if anyone is attacked! This is at least twice as good. But also even more counter Quicksilver actually and other characters who go first, take extra turns etc as then Star-Lord can interrupt their double turn by making on of your team go in between. Its actually much, much better then the extra turn by Cyclops(or similar effects).

Star-Lord is really  good and easily the best character from the Guardian of the Galaxy team. Then with his suit his debuff triggering si removed but he instead makes allies counter attack together and boost people stats instead. Both of these passives are really good and are both playable. Depending on the team he is in.
The great thing with the suit is that it makes him not more limited like the other GOTG but more flexible. The alt suit is not always the best as mentioned but the other GOTG character just get passives that effect them or other GOTG while then Star-Lord gets a suit who don't lock him to them at all (his normal suit is better with GOTG).

The extra turn with his lets call it team coordination attack(its called united Front but I mean its clearly another version of the coordinated avengers mechanic since pre season 1)

And then in the end he got a huge damage attack with his second ability. The dispersion of the damage is ludicrous as it goes from 1-3 attacks and they have low hit chance and shit. But if he hits with all 3 the other character will die from full life pretty much. Similar to Taskmaster.

This is why as I went over with Groot, why would you do Star-Lord as a support isos etc. You want him with huge attack boost so he can 1 shot anyone, he is very good in defense as he is luck based. Luck based and straight forward. I did a list of great characters for pvp defense AI and Star-Lord would definitely fit the criteria.
He himself can deal crazy damage if you are lucky. He can give people turns!!!(in a turn based game that is always huge) And its way to easy to trigger the extra turn it happens constantly. And he extends your damage a lot as he got some weird version of coordination attack/defend which has always been one of the best AI passive to have.

Star-Lord is the strongest of the new characters this season.
