Character Concept Mushi, the Refined lady: Moba Design

I will follow a League of Legends design fashion for this character as I it is designed for a MOBA genre game or a similar game genre. + Most of my readers do read the League of Legend related articles (roughly 8000 unique readers yesterday on those articles), making it seems reasonable.
Well the best thing with making it be about League of Legend, is that it eases the communication for me. Now I can say well it would work similar to X or it would removes Y’s ability. Its especially good when using examples, and explaining situations.

Furthermore, if anyone is interested in working as a concept artist etc I know some people who have interested in doing so for Character Design contact me and we can probably work something good out of it.



Mushi, the Refined lady


Quick Overview:

Mushi is a support oriented character. She has a free ward ability, well the ability is not a good as a ward but close to it. She has a couple of crow control abilities, one that lowers the damage output of her enemies. This to support her carry or other teammates. Lastly Mushi can block of areas from harmful spells this can be used in many different ways.

Easy-Medium Difficulty.

Lore:

Mushi grow up as a very lonely child, solitude some would say. In her childhood years she only had one real friend a Wasp Queen she named Janet. Janet was had living in Mushi’s bag that Mushi always carried with her. Mushi was a very nice,beautiful and gentle young lady making all the boys in her small village like her as she grew older. But, this sparked jealously from girls of her age.
One day the all wanted to punish Mushi, they violated her and forced her to shallow her best friend Janet. To Mushi fortune Janet have managed to survive insider her body as, to Mushi misfortune Janet's children started to fly out of her bodies orifices a year after the incident.
While Mushi was scared at first she quickly realized the Wasp wouldn't hurt her, she could even control them to a certain degree. She planned to use her new found friends to torture her tormentors. But she lost control of them and all the girls where heavily injured.
Mushi was sentenced by the elders to 10 years in prison.  She thrown down into a cellar to be her prison, down in this cellar over the years Mushi containing studying the fine arts a lady should know, tea ceremony for example. But she also consumed different insects that she could find down there
10 years later, Mushi has filled her body with many different Insects, which she can summon forth.  


Appearance:

I am thinking a Japanese classic clothing styled female. I really liked  the looks of Pestilence in Uncanny X-Force.

Abilities:



Passive Ability: A Wid Centipede.
If Mushi attacks an enemy who are inside a bush terrain. She will make Poisonous Centipede(who lives in the bushes) attack the enemy + her normal attack damage.

The centipede poison, deals damage over time and slows the enemies.

Deals 10 + 20% of ability power as magical damage for 2.5 seconds
Target is slowed for 20% for 2.5 Seconds    



Locust Swarm : (Q)

Mushi, spits out a swarm of locust. Damaging and lowering the enemies power.

A triangle breath attack. as a Equilateral triangle.

With the start range of 200 (Height of the triangle)
200/250/300/350/400

At level 5 this ability will have this range when Mushi(M) is using it.  

Lower enemies attack damage by 10%/20/30/40/50% per level for 5 seconds.
Deals 50/70/90/110/130 + 45% of ability power as magical damage per target.

Cost 70/85/100/115/130 Mana
Cooldown 20/17.5/15/12.5/10 Seconds

-When the user levels this ability, it deals more damage and lowers the enemies attack power more (maybe make it lower ability power as well but I think it will be to strong then), but it also grow in range both the maximum straight line range but also to the sides of Mushi.

Wasps: (W)

Mushi sends out poisonous wasps that stings one single target enemies legs. Paralyzing the enemy.


Target enemy is immobilized for  1.3/1.5/1.7/1.9/2.1 Seconds
Deals 75/100/125/150/175/200 + 40% Ability Power as Magical Damage

Cost 60/70/80/90/100 Mana
Cooldown 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 Seconds



Firefly : (E)

Mushi can place Fireflies at any given location. This Firefly will grant vision to the team.
These fireflies are not hidden but they cannot be target or destroyed with Area of effect spells.
One Firefly last for 100 Seconds.
Level 1 vision of 100, which is increased to 200 at level 2

Vision 100/200/200/200/200

Level 4 grants true sight to the fireflies.

Cost 100/120/140/160/180 Mana
Cooldown 100/100/50/50/25 Seconds

- This ability, I want to be like a free ward. But, less efficient. As all players can see where the fireflies are. This mean that, the opponent know she/he is being watched, so that player wont be surprised if they start attacking her/him. However,m with the low cooldown on level 5 and true sight on level 4. These fireflies will give a lot of map control and they cant be removed.



Ultimate: Bug Wall (R)

Mushi summons over 9000 millions bugs to form a wall that protects her and her allies from harmful  directional traveling abilities. (Both Single target abilities and Skill shoot abilities)
The wall does not prevent ground target Area of Effect abilities.
For example it will not stop Brand’s Pillar of Flame but Anivia’s Flash Frost(skill shoot ability) cant travel over the wall.

To use this ability the user first press R(or the hot key for ultimate) and then by pressing down the left button with the mouse draws out how the wall should be placed.

Mushi (M) can for example protect the Carry(C) from harmful abilities by laying a wall at the wall, at later levels the Bug wall has an increased range and its quite easy for Mushi to lay a wall around a Carry standing still.

The Bug Wall does not move!  (So the others players better stand still)
Any champion can move across the wall without any effect, normal attacks is also unaffected.
It only affect abilities which the enemy try to cast from either side of the wall. Meaning the wall has no “front or back side”, Mushi can for example surround the opponent teams Ap Carry so she/he has to leave the wall before using abilities.
Mushi’s cast range is 1000 range.

Bug wall range 600/800/1000 = How Long the wall is.

Last for 7.5/10/12.5 Seconds


Cost 200/300/400 Mana
Cooldown 100/80/60 Seconds

- This is an ability, I like as it can really show how good a user is. A good player will stop a lot of things and the teammates will be grateful. TO me it feels like an ability that can really give that, tx man you saved me comments.

Inspiration for the design:


I wanted to make a character with a free ward. And then I come up with that a firefly would make be perfect.
I really liked how pestilence looked in uncanny x-force and I kinda like the whole geisha feel to it. So I want Mushi to look Japanese (given by the name). But, well.... I couldn't make up a good title for her.
