Class: Barber

Barber were the field doctors during medieval times. Overall they were the doctors in town as well as the “doctors” and priests mainly did the theoretical stuff the Barber were the ones applying leeches and performing amputation operations.
The Barber don't have the formal training as other classes and does not have much resources to have expansive equipment nor weapons. Instead relaying on his wits and different simpler ranged weapons.

Primary Weapon: Throwing Knife

The Barber main weapon is the Throwing Knife. The Throwing Knife is made of a single piece of metal and do not have any handles, meaning it is ill advised to use for thrusting or slashing actions but it works pretty well as a ranged weapon.

Throwing Knives deals low damage but can be thrown very quickly. And is reloaded quickly as well.

Unlockable upgrade 1: Poison Knife

The barber has access to different medicines and other drugs that affect the body.

Lower initial damage, adds a damage over time to opponent hit for 5 seconds.

Unlockable upgrade 2: Numbing poison Knife
Lower damage, reduces hit opponent movement speed with 20% for 5 seconds

Unlockable Primary Weapon 1:  Francisca

The Barber can throw axes know as Francisca instead of knifes however they are harder to aim with and the Barber cant carry as many.

Higher damage then Knifes shorter range and slightly harder to aim with and lower ammunition.

Unlockable Primary Weapon 2: Sling

The cheapest weapon of them all during the medieval age was the sling. Free ammunition but harder to use in close combat.

Longer range and moderately higher damage then daggers but requires a 2 second to charge up the sling before shooting. Furthermore, has to reload after one shoot.

However, Slingshot requires no ammunition as Pebbles and similar objects can be found everywhere.

Secondary Weapon: Angon

A very common weapon was different types of spears. The Angon is a evolved version of the Pilum used by anglo-saxans. The Angon is a throwing spear that can be used in close combat as well. It is a hooked spear so it can disable shields.

Moderate damage bad accuracy as the Barber is not very well trained used the spear. Thrown Angons can latch into Shields and enough of them will destroy a shield. In close combat the animation will change and the Barber will instead fight with the Angon were it can be used to pierce shields and disarm opponent Berserkers(Viking Assault Class).

Gadget: Alcoholic bottle

Barber is equipment with Alcoholic bottle can give his patient and take a drink or two as he is not used to the horror of war.
Blast area, deals low damage and distort the vision for opponents.
Soaks opponents and objects in Alcohol.
Soaked opponents and objects can be lit on fire by mainly the Soldier(Engineer Class) and Marksman(Recon Class) taking moderate damage over time.

Team-play Gadget: Amputate(Defibrillator)

The Barber can perform field surgery by amputating off limbs of injured allies. This will bring the ally back to fight again.

Unlockable Team-Gadget 1: Barber-Pole(Spawn Location)

The Barber can put up his shop sign the Barber-Pole this will show allies he is ready to support them and that the area is safe.

It will look something like this but a pole(instead of that more modern looking one) made out of wood which is colored in the stripes

Unlockable Team-Gadget 2: Repair Kit (Vehicle Fixer).

The Barber is handy with his hammer and nails he can rebuild destroyed boats. And he can remove caltrops from Horses hoofs or fix their saddle etc.
He can repair horses and wagons and different boats with this team-gadget.

Class Youth:

-I was thinking the look similar to the Barber but with other different colored clothes and more of a Scandinavian appearance, for example a furred tunic for the cold Winters and travel by the cold ships on the sea.

Youths are Vikings who are on one of their first voyages if not the first. Lacking experience of actual combat their elder brethren have put them in a more supporting position in the army. Furthermore as the youth have not done many successful raids yet they cannot afford expansive equipment but they are young and creative fighters.

Secondary Weapon: Frakka
The Youth uses a Frakka as their secondary Weapon a  throwing spear used in Scandinavia. However, while the Youth is more skilled with the Frakka then the Barber is with an Angon. The Frakkas the youth can afford are not very good quality.
This result is that the Frakka deals lower damage then the Angon but the Youth has far better aim then the Barber.

Frakka has the same effect towards Knight’s shield as the Angon has on Berserker’s shield.
