As always the game night becomes a complete failure to me just as I had expected. Mostly because I never get to play what I want. I actually did play just Guilty gear for like 1 hour but not on the level I wanted to. The rest of the day goes with me playing games that other wants to play because I want to please them. What I cant understand is why those people can't understand that, is how it should work on equal terms that you humor each other playing there games they brought with them.
When confronting a "friend" later on the night with my want to play Virtua fighter, when he he is playing a single player game... He bluntly refuses first, for him hating that game and then prompting me to play his game. Now I had enough so I take up the argument that in all fairness shouldn't we play my games for once or at least have a compromise play neither of those 2 games and play a 3 one that both likes we had many many games to pick from, but he refused so I just told him that he can just go home and don't honk on of the TV's if he is gonna play a single player game that no one else wants to play.
I honestly cant understand why they cant understand that when. I scratch there backing playing there games not letting them win but i can gladly play games I know they are better at me at and I will then try to beat them for a while as long as the game is good. Because as I look at it being a good friend and the right social thing to do should be that letting people have there will through for a while so everyone gets to play there special game. Because when someone ask me to play there games that they have mastered I know they probably want to show of, but they also wants to just play that game they love and often have to play alone the right thing to do is, then to of course play it with them. But never my games just because I win...
A sub theory I have about this people is because I often win in other games to like a dreadfully bad game bouncer I can picture it maybe being fun as a solo beat em up game but to play it as a fighter..it didn't help it was 4 player just made it worse, but I guess they in there mind believe I had fun or something, it could be that or I just really need to get nicer people to play with.
Overall just a day of failure for me, it as an overall boredom when at the end its super smash on the big screen and on one TV. Anyone else getting tired of that shit, what bugs me that most is that, OK lets play that when its a lot of people here but 3 at night when only the so called "elite" the hardcore gamers are left then we should play other games that actually require some real skills and talking individually with each person playing the game at this hour they all agree that its not that good of a game when they want a real challenge a real game. Still it goes down to that just like last time.
I just went home long before the rest, grunting that I missed my Internet connection to play the games I want to play. Its poor when the Internet becomes more fun to play on then in real life. Especially when it comes to fighting games as small lag can break a match completely and of course its tremendous more joy to play it when beating people you know
